Fallout 3 - Tips και στρατηγική

Το Fallout, παιχνίδι της χρονιάς το 2008, είναι ένα από αυτά που βοηθά σημαντικά να σχεδιάσει ο παίκτης εξαρχής τη γενική πορεία του, παρά να την ανακαλύψει στην πορεία. Πρωτού ξεκινήσετε το παιχνίδι, διαβάστε τον παρακάτω αναλυτικό οδηγό ο οποίος θα διευκολύνει σημαντικά τις περιπέτειές σας στα ερείπια της Washington DC.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

Στην αρχή του παιχνιδιού θα κληθείτε να διαλέξετε πόσο ισχυρά θα είναι τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά σας (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck). Το βασικό που πρέπει να γνωρίζετε για αυτά, είναι πως ορισμένα από τα perks (που διαλέγετε κάθε φορά που ανεβαίνεται level) μπορείτε να τα επιλέξετε μόνο εφόσον έχετε ένα ελάχιστο ποσό πόντων σε κάποιο συγκεκριμένο χαρακτηριστικό. Για αυτό το λόγο, μελετήστε τα perks και φροντίστε για εκείνα που θέλετε να έχετε τα κατάλληλα χαρακτηριστικά S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Προτείνονται τα εξής:
  • Perception, Agility και Luck τουλάχιστον 6, αν θέλετε τα χρήσιμα perks "Sniper" (level 12) και "Better Criticals" (Level 16).
  • Endurance τουλάχιστον 5, αν θέλετε το Perk "Toughness" (level 6)
  • Intelligence στο μέγιστο 10 (ή τουλάχιστον 9 και να αναζητήσετε κατευθείαν το intelligence bobblehead για να πάρετε το έξτρα +1), καθώς ο αριθμός αυτός καθορίζει πόσα skills μπορείτε να ανεβάσετε σε κάθε level του χαρακτήρα σας.

ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: Τα παραπάνω χαρακτηριστικά μπορούν να είναι και 1 βαθμό χαμηλότερα, αν είστε διατεθημένοι να αναζητήσετε τα αντίστοιχα bobbleheads που σας δίνουν +1 στο κάθε χαρακτηριστικό (ακολουθεί οδηγός αργότερα).


SKILLS

Για τον ίδιο λόγο με τα S.P.E.C.I.A.L. καλό είναι να έχετε ένα ορισμένο επίπεδο όταν φτάνεται σε συγκεκριμένα levels, ώστε να μπορείτε να επιλέξετε ορισμένα κρίσιμα perks:
  • Medicine και Science τουλάχιστον 60 στο level 14, αν θέλετε το perk "Cyborg"
  • Energy Weapons και Small Guns τουλάχιστον 60 στο level 18, αν θέλετε το perk "Concentrated Fire"
  • Repair τουλάχιστον 30, ώστε στην αρχή του παιχνιδιού να μπορείτε να κάνετε το quest στο Megaton.

Γενικά πάντως προτείνεται να επενδύσετε στα εξής skills:
  • Small Guns / Energy Weapons: Τουλάχιστον ένα από τα δύο, καθώς είναι από τα βασικότερα στις μάχες. Τα Energy weapons μην τα ανεβάσετε πάνω από 90 αν σκοπεύετε να πάρετε το perk "Cyborg"
  • Lockpick / Science: Αν μπορείτε και τα δύο καλύτερα, καθώς σε διαφορετική περίπτωση θα βρείτε πολύ λιγότερο loot και αρκετά σημεία θα είναι εντελώς απροσπέλαστα.
  • Repair: Θα σας γλιτώσει πολύ χρόνο και χρήμα, καθώς θα επιδιορθώνετε μόνοι σας τα όπλα, θα τα πουλάτε σε υψηλές τιμές και δε θα γίνεστε εύκολα over-encumbered.
  • Sneak: Σε υψηλό level σας δίνει τη δυνατότητα για παντοδύναμα sneak attacks. Επενδύστε πάντως είτε πάρα πολλά, είτε καθόλου σε αυτό το skill.

PERKS

Κάθε 2 level του χαρακτήρα σας, γίνονται διαθέσιμα νέα perks (κάθε level ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να διαλέξετε ένα perk). Προτείνονται τα παρακάτω:
  • Level 2
    • "Gun Nut" - Ανεβάζει τα Small Guns και Repair skills σας, που θα έπρεπε να είναι από τα βασικά σας.
  • Level 4
    • "Educated" - Σας δίνει επιπλέον skill points κάθε φορά που ανεβαίνεται level
    • "Comprehension" - Σας δίνει ένα επιπλέον skill point κάθε φορά που διαβάζετε skill Books (δηλ. 2 πόντους, αντί για 1)
  • Level 6:
    • "Gunslinger" - Δίνει +25% πιθανότητα όταν χρησιμοποιείται το VATS με one-handed όπλα.
    • "Toughness" - Δίνει +10% στο damage resistance
  • Level 8
    • "Commando" - Δίνει +25% πιθανότητα όταν χρησιμοποιείται το VATS με two-handed όπλα
  • Level 10
    • "Finesse" - Δίνει +5% πιθανότητα να κάνετε critical hit.
  • Level 12
    • "Sniper" - Δίνει +25% πιθανότητα όταν στοχεύετe στο κεφάλι με VATS
  • Level 14
    • "Cyborg" - Δίνει μεταξύ άλλων +10% στο damage resistance και +10 points στο skill "Energy Weapons"
  • Level 16
    • "Action Boy" (ή "Action Girl") - Δίνει +25 action points στο VATS
    • "Better Criticals" - Δίνει +50% damage σε κάθε critical hit
  • Level 18
    • "Concentrated Fire" - Δίνει επιπλέον 5% σε κάθε συνεχόμενη βολή μέσω VATS (δηλ +5% στη δεύτερη, +10% στην τρίτη κ.ο.κ.)
  • Level 20
    • "Grim Reapers Spirit" - Κάθε φορά που σκοτώνετε έναν εχθρό, τα action points του VATS ξαναγεμίζουν αμέσως.


BOBBLEHEADS

Για κάθε χαρακτηριστικό του S.P.E.C.I.A.L. υπάρχει και ένα bobblehead, το οποίο δίνει +1 στο αντίστοιχο χαρακτηριστικό. Μπορείτε να τα βρείτε εδώ:
  • Agility – Στο Greener Pastures Disposal Site, στο γραφείο πάνω σε ένα τραπέζι.
  • Charisma – Στο Vault 108, στο Cloning Lab, πάνω σε ένα τραπέζι.
  • Endurance – Στο Deathclaw Sanctuary, στο αρχικό chamber, δίπλα στα πτώματα.
  • Intelligence – Στο Rivet City, στο Science Lab, πάνω σε ένα τραπέζι.
